Hello All,
Quick question . I have a 2015 Gt Premium and I have been noticing a decline in miles till empty. I use to have after a fill up 315 miles till empty. Now recently I ve been getting 289 and the last fil up read 270 mile till empty. What is causing this? Any help would be appreciated. I have only 20000 miles on her.

1. Colder weather. Are you warming it up? Remote start?
2. Traffic in the holidays. You driving more bumper to bumper? Any change in driving habits?
3. Tires. Check your tires with an actual tire gauge. Cold weather drops the PSI and maybe they need air after 20k.

Mainly look for changes in driving habits. New job or driving to a different spot that maybe has more stop-'n-go traffic. Usually there's some underlying factor other than "something wrong with car."

Jealous on the 270-280. When I fill up, the screen usually states 208 maybe 210 DTE. I do have the PP GT with the 3.73 gears. My car is still in stock form, no tunes or mods. I usually drive it around town to and from work (about 10 miles round trip) and very rarely drive it on the freeway. I don't romp on it, as I usually have one of my little ones in the car with me. Tire pressure is set at 36 psi. Is the mileage (DTE) something I should be concerned with beings it is only a city car? Car currently has 2,700 miles.

City driving and 3.73s. That's going to drop your mileage a lot with no highway.

I get around mid 13 mpg most of the time, so I consider any readout that starts with a 2 as a victory. That said, this tank I seem to be getting mid 15 inexplicably. Yowza 225 here I come.

I also vote for the Winter Blend fuel. There's a higher alcohol content in it than regular alcofuel. I've always noticed an mpg drop in all my vehicles come wintertime.
It's all about BTU's and Potential Energy.

it changes depending on MPG overall and fuel quality. even if you reset the MPGs the ECM keeps an over all log and judges off of that.

It's funny; I typically get better MPG in the winter even though I agree with your logic about the added ethanol. I think it's because there's not much traction in the winter, so I have to go lighter on the throttle.
