trunk capacity?

stupid question here... anyone here take their mustang to autox or track days?

i would like to know if with the rear sears down can a spare set of 4 wheels and tires (oem PP staggered sizing) will all fit in the back and trunk space?

It's tight, and it uses up a lot of the room for other gear and tools.

I haven't done it with the wheels mounted yet, just loose tires on their way to get mounted, but yes, you can get 4 in the car (275/35R19 in my case)

Barely. If you take out the trunk mat and the air pump in the spare tire well, you can squeeze one down into the spare tire well just far enough to fit a second one in the trunk on top of it. Then put the other two in the back seat. That's how I do it.

will a full size fit in the s550 tire well?

the reason i'm asking is because in my old 2011 s197 i actually had to fully deflate the tire (19" brembo wheel and oem pirelli) in order to make it fit... wtf ford???

and when you say back seat, is it will the seatback up or down?

ugh i hate pre-race day logistics :(

the wheel well is too small a diameter to take an inflated full size tire iirc, also much too shallow. it is possible to fit four 255-wide tires in the car mounted. I did it, but had to put one in the front seat. there are a number of threads about this.
