My understanding was that trim falls under the 12 month/12k mile deal.

I would guess they took pictures and Ford said it didn't appear to be a factory defect. My 2017 developed a small crack in the paint about quarter inch long at the top edge of the emblem where they must of pressed it on to tight and Ford gave me a new panel and installed it under the 3yr./36,000 warranty.

Don’t get too jumpy on that Continuum. It was a gift and I’ve had better $20/$50 wines.

To be honest, a few Alaskan Whites and a good Gurkha would be more enjoyable.

First time I've heard of a 12 month/12k mile warranty. Don't even think that is a thing to be honest, unless it was some kind of BS your dealer filled you with (which I wouldn't doubt one bit). This should have fell under the 3 yr/ 36k mile bumper to bumper, but they probably just assumed you broke it yourself.

To be honest bro, you’re prob right. My car wasn’t the first hat his had happened to but given the circumstances, I had to act.

I used two 8/32 female post nuts, two 8/32 x 3/8” stainless screws and two 3/4” washers as the mounting hardware. Since this car makes so much vibration, I drilled a wine cork and then cut slivers and placed between the washers and the panel to help absorb shock.

I tried explaining to my wife that i need to drink of bottle of wine before starting this project and she was a little skeptical....
