Tint or tail light covers?

It's window tint I believe. My detail shop did it as a favor so I don't know for sure, sorry.

I can say that the pre-cut SEC10 kit sucks and left red showing so I pulled it off.

Which was surprising as I used their kit for one of my Germans and it came out fine???
Yeah I tried sec10 too and sent them pictures before pulling it off. Safe to say I got a full refund.

I'm never tinting my tail lights. With tinted tail lights, if someone rear ends you, they can explain that since your brake lights are tinted, they couldn't tell you were braking. Rear ends are supposed to be clear cut 100% their fault, but I could see where they could have a case against you. Life is already full of shit sometimes, no need to give it a potential boost just have your car look slightly better.
I had mine on for a week, drove in a storm on the highway & had cars flashing me & then when nearly home a motorbike pulled alongside me & said my lights weren't on. They were hardly visible, even with the brakes on in the rain. I took them off the following day for safety. I loved the look of them, just wish they lights were more visible underneath. Gutted !
