I don’t know, but they replace the module and here is again. I’m considering to buy the screen by myself at the Ford OEM parts online and install it myself. Dealers like to keep any simple work for long time. Also they always scratch something, always. I have an extended warranty so it is $100 deductible or to pay $500 and install it myself. I know, why to pay extended warranty if you are considering not to use it? Well, mainly to cover more serious issues like engine, electrical system, transmission and so on. But yeah, let me go tomorrow at the closest dealer and see what is the feeling.Part of me doesnt think its the module. Another ford tech told me the same thing that the module dies. My car is out of warranty so im not going to have them mess with it.
These past few colder months, the screen stopped ghost touching so then I tried to use apple car play again but then the issue came back up again. So maybe it really is the screen itself??
My steering wheel has been making a noise since day one like something was broken or loose inside. I wanted to think maybe something was making contact, but I don't think so. Why not just do that every time?
I think it is the screen. Last time the tech guy told me no to connect my phone by cable to avoid garbage data corrupting the system. So no phone, no cable, nothing. It must be the creen.
