You should, there is nothing really new, but there are a lot of fixes.

One issue that was making me crazy, was that if I let my iPod connected it would randomly work on startup, I had to disconnect and connect to get it working.

That has been fixed on this update.

I read that this upgrade is for versions 1.0/1.1 only and that this could screw up your system if you apply it to a 2.0 system. That may or may not be true but I am holding off on my 2017 Explorer and just waiting for it to upgrade on it's own.

No, mine is a 2017 and came off with 2.0, updated successfully.

i don't know if i messed up or not, but i downloaded the file from the link on page 1 and unzipped it when it finished downloading. applied it to my empty usb drive and went to my car and plugged it in. nothing happens.

what am i doing wrong?

Just to clarify... don't use the non-nav update on a 2.0 unit.... the nav update. You can use at your own risk on a 2.0 update but if there is an issue that is on you. However nav units have been okay thus far 2.0 to 2.2

i didn't open the zipped file and transfer that info, i just transferred the zipped file. so i got over that hurdle and hooked it up and it loaded up fine, prompt came on the screen that it installed and would work the next time i start my vehicle. shut it off for 5 min and started it up again and it's still on 1.0...guess i have to let it sit longer

Successfully updated Non-Nav Focus RS to v2.2. (Yay, new start-up screen for the RS!)

And also successfully updated my '17 GT350 from v2.0 to v2.2.

Now just need the hub to come in to get CarPlay in the RS.

It worked!!!...now hopefully this will fix the problem of sync booting my phone and making me have to disconnect and re-connect it...

did it take a while for the Sync nav maps to load? i couldn't select the nav section and when i go to the home screen, it just says "loading map" i waited about 5 min and nothing...just wondering if that takes a while to load up

I upgraded Friday. I'm waiting for an official part number for our car before ordering a new hub.

Has anyone else noticed that they're using a different voice for the prompts now? Not perfect but seems less mechanical.

i heard people were ordering ones from the 2017 F150 for the center arm rest...and i heard that new voice in a 2017 F150...i like it better
