Sync 3 Map Update

Hello All,

A quick question. In my 19 GT, i have Sync build 3.3, version 19052 and map version NA 1 18. I ordered the USB stick for the map update and stuck it in. Nothing happened and the blue light on the USB stayed solid. In the wife's Edge, I did the same thing and I could tell it was working as the blue light flashed constantly. I know the USB ports are working because they music that I have on other USB sticks that I have. Anybody have any idea as to why it is not installing in my Mustang? Thanks in advance.

Hi partswiz. There is a major thread on maps 1.19 you should delete this thread and the one on the other forum and join us over there. Multiple listings are a rpoblem and will not get you questions answered.

What type of USB are you using? Have you tried a different one? My unit would not read a 3.0 Sandisk stick with 64G. But it read a 3.0 Maxell 64G stick no problem.

I was using the one that Ford sent me.

Do a master reset and try again. If that doesn't work call Ford.

Buy the way did you check to see if you had the latest license file?
