There's also some commentary on the catalytic converter integration and the exhaust system. As we've seen in the prototypes, apparently these babies are going to be welded.

If Dave Pericak's goal was to thwart the aftermarket, this is one item that fits with that strategy. Yikes!

And there is a description on the CMCV system that is different than previous ones. You probably don't want to rip it out of the engine.

The exhaust is disappointing in that it will cost well over a grand to replace as cutting/welding doesn't appeal to me very much(though that is exactly what I did to mine, but that's another story). The breathing abilities of the heads and cams really excites me though. The potential of the Coyote with cams is amazing.

Great link, love stepping through the pics with additional info in the captions. I'll bet that the Coyote's fuel efficency will be remarkably better. I'm thinking that the noticeable, but not huge, gains in torque and hp are in spite (in concert?) with much better efficiency when driven as a daily driver or just cruising. It wil likely still rip when roaring to redline, no doubt. I am excited...
