Suspension upgrade question

Hello all,

I have a 2016 GT. I’m looking to upgrade the suspension and chassis. I found a Mustang track handling pack on Ford Performance for $1573. They say It is used on the 2016 Hertz Shelby GT-H Mustangs, 2015-2017 Shelby Super Snake and on the Ford Performance Racing School Mustang GTs.
Track Handling Pack Includes:

• Assembled Front Struts and rear shocks M-18000-F
• Track Lowering Springs M-5300-Y
• Performance Pack Upper Strut Mounts M-18183-M
• Jounce Bumper Kit
• Sway Bar Kit M-5490-G
• Performance Pack Rear Toe Links M-5972-M
• Toe Link to knuckle Bearings M-5A460-M

For that amount of money, is this kit worth it, or should I piece together a mixture of after market suspension components? I want my car to handle like a GT350. But I won’t be tracking it. I used The search function, but didn’t see much along these lines.

Shop around. You can find it for way less than $1573.

Yes it's one of the best suspension kits you can buy for the Mustang. Don't buy it off the FP website though, you can get it cheaper at other places.

It's pretty hard to beat the BMR SP083 Handling Springs & Ford Performance M-18000-F Track Damper set for a mixed road/track combination.

I bought that exact kit from Steeda a few months ago when it was on sale. Around $1200 if I recall correctly. I love it. I like the idea it was track designed by Ford. It's stiff, but not unreasonable for a daily driver. (Unless your area has a lot of potholes or bad roads.)

That’s price is high for vary little. Just my opinion. I got a complete set of sr coilover a month ago for $250 Because they were missing one mount. Called the vendor and got a new one for $50. $1000 kit for $300

have this kit sitting in my house waiting for it to be installed.

would this have significant differences from say a drag spring from BMR,

i tend to only do some roll racing with the twin turbos and don't plan on actually take it to the track or the strip.
