I added the Ford Accessory stainless pedals to my 2021 base GT...total plug and play deal - the instructions say to NOT turn the car on with the gas pedal unplugged, or you'll throw a code...Well, in the month since I did this swap, I had a surging issue - not terrible, but definitely noticeable, the throttle was suddenly too sensitive. Well, last night I unplugged the battery - also to remove the trickle charger plug that I'll never use...plugged everything back in, and it all feels normal again. I wonder why that is? Throttle position sensor on the new pedal was sending a weird signal the car wasn't quite expecting maybe? Either way, no codes.
