I have the same issue, I did a Google search and nothing turned up. Since I installed laser jammers on same circuit as body control module I'm not pressing the issue. However it surged before I ever installed jammers. My guess is a resistor since fords are notorious for needing blower motor resistors.

Mine does it too, fan set to constant speed, not on auto temp and fan seems to vary speed with no input...

Well mine has 10K on it. It was surging for a while...but now the A/C isn't blowing cold air at all. Going to have to make an appt to get it checked out this week. We will see what they say.

Hey guys wanted to give you an update, I finally got my car in for all the issues I'm having one being blower motor fluctuating on its own. The car still isn't fixed and for whatever reason this is the only problem they are actually acknowledging and trying to fix. Dealer replaced the blower resister or speed controller didn't fix the problem so they ordered a blower motor. I will find out tomorrow if that worked

Any update on the issue? Do you still notice the problem after replacing the blower motor?

Mine got worse. Lets say the fan speed scale from 1 to 10. When I set it to 8 sometimes it goes to 6 then 9, 7 to 8 for a few seconds then stays on 8.

But now it's like from 8 to 2! then 2 to 10 then back to 2. Felt like something about to blow up!

Any new info would be appreciated. It's kinda hard to reproduce the issue at the dealer.
