Nice. Hopefully whoever welded the pedals removed the plastic bushing first. Were you able to get the circular push clips off without breaking them? If not, most hardware stores carry the correct replacements.

I did the welding. Not an A+ job, but reinforced enough. I did remove the bushings, and I was able to remove the lock rings without damage and reused them.

I used a socket to tap them back on.

I tried to find replacement bushings, but no luck online or with Ford or big box parts stores.

I just reused the ones I had. I hit the pivot points and bushings with some silicone spray during re-assembly.

Hopefully everything goes back together in one piece and I don't end up with more bloody knuckles than I got during removal.

Cool. I remember I had a hard time getting the assembly lined up and keeping the clutch slave in the right spot. Once it's in the right spot it's pretty easy from there. Make sure you re-connect the slave supply line correctly and bleed it real good before trying to drive the car. The difference in my situation was night & day after the fix.
