We can’t recommend a blower intelligently with such little information. Do you want a easier to handle off the line (centrifugal) or a while ride as soon as you put your foot down (P.D) ?900-1000 range. I don’t have a preference but what do you recommend?
My understanding is the Coyote motor @800 requires no internal changes. Once you hit the 900-1000 your going to have to upgrade internals and I could be wrong but that’s what I have read. And you state just street driving and regular fun. And don’t get me wrong you can get some serious power out of the stock motor but your odds increase to something breaking, The biggest challenge you will have is the tires and suspension. I have the Redeye Challenger Wide Body and even at basically 800 hp the tires are always the challenge. Good luck on your project which tons of great info aNd you can always start @800 and work yiyr way up if you really feel that makes the difference for your goals. More power equals more money and so many other variables like fuel Pump, injectors, cooling, tune......etc900-1000 range. I don’t have a preference but what do you recommend?
The coyote is a temperamental witch. It can and has handled 1100whp for along time. But it can and has tapped out at 600-700whp or less. It’s always a risk. But it is common for a gen2/3 to hold 900whp reliably 900+ you are wearing things out fast. 1000+ your on borrowed timeMy understanding is the Coyote motor @800 requires no internal changes. Well said and as we know it’s all about tires tires tires...suspension, exhaust, fuel, brakes having to be up graded since once your hauling ass you have to stop. I have owned many Hellcats and I remember back in 2017 2 oldier gentleman took their Hellcat to a private airport runway. And yep they hauled ass right off the run way and could not stop and died. The coyote is a temperamental witch. It can and has handled 1100whp for along time.
