So I have been eyeing the track handling pack from Ford. Recently put an order in with jegs , but I will canceling it today as they never informed me it was on backorder. I was planning on paying a little more to grab one from steeda, but now I've found it on clearance for about 500$ cheaper but would once again be on backorder. I'm not sure if I should bite the bullet and grab it from steeda or just save that extra 500$ and just wait for it. The only other upgrade I'm planning for this year is a digital dash, so that extra 500$ would save me on that end. I'd like to get it done ASAP but I won't be doing anything track wise till next year after I do brembos.

Grab it now. You won't go wrong with the steeda kit. I'm doing the stop the hop kit.

Actually i already purchased the stop the hop kit. This is the ford performance track suspension kit I'm talking about.

Edit :: After mulling it over After work this morning and a beer (3rd shift , don't judge) , I think im better off with paying a little extra and going with it from steeda. I have nonidea what the lead times on this are. So it could be 3 months out, or a year out.

I see these kits up for sale on the 6g site every so often. Could save you $$ if you aren't tracking until next season, and if you can bide your time while watching for one. You can even create a custom notification to email you when one pops up.

Or buy the components from Levittown. I had no faith in the kit coming off backorder anytime soon, but all individual pieces were in stock... paid a bit more than the kit price, but it was still a hell of a lot cheaper than steeda or anyone else.

I waited 5 month on a backordered roof panel for my Explorer ST. I hate waiting.

1. If you do not plan on tracking it until next year, save the money and wait.

2. You could do the "build your own kit" from Steeda. Dual rate springs, progressive dampers, FSB/RSB and you will be happy.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....................................

3. Sell your Mustang GT and buy a Mach 1 w/the HP. You will get the digital dash and more than what you are wanting in the suspension upgrade department. Then track the hell out of it.

I'm in the same boat with waiting. If I'm paying for something I'd prefer to not have to wait for it. Going to kill me when I decide to go FI. Don't want to even think about that. Part of the reason I'm wanting to go with the FR kit is it seems like the best bang for your buck while still being a great kit. I plan on possibly doing some autox or other events this summer, just not taking to WGI for anything until next year.

I was actually looking at 350s and M1s , but I got myself i to this car for about 20k cheaper then a m1. Would've loved to get one, but i couldn't really pass up the deal when I found it.

I just made my own kit piecemeal. Except the sway bar, i was unable to find the FP one and ended up just getting the steeda one.

Well I canceled my jegs order and ordered it from steeda. Was only around 200$ more due to the freight shipping charge. But at least this way I can hopefully get it installed before my vacation at the end of April and enjoy the car when I get back.
