Suede steering wheel

I hate the feel of suede on these gt350 steering wheels, prob not going to be very durable . should be able to get a new leather one from ford off of a premium car, think it will work?

I have a GT Premium with leather steering wheel I would be glad to trade you for your GT350 wheel. Let me know.

Ugh, that's a horrible image. That said...

My '11 GT500 had Alcantara inserts on the steering wheel. After 2 years of daily driving, the Alcantara was beginning to develop shiny spots (like you get on worn suede shoes) where my hands normally rested. It wouldn't be a bad idea in the long run to buy a spare 350 steering wheel and tuck it away for the future.

Yeah I bought the R wheel and put the stocker in storage =). I had the boss 302 wheel in my GT and it developed the same smooth areas, but still less slick than leather when your palms are sweaty

I had mine recovered in leather, half perforated and half smooth. Added thicker padding to beef it up a bit:

Donald does great work, I had him do my Evo X wheel (padded, alcantara, red stripe at top) years ago and it came out amazing, far far better than the pencil-thick wheel the Evo came with.

Have a 4,000 mile take off leather setting here in a GT350 wheels box. Make offer by PM if you want it. You can keep your stock one. But I would sent mine off to the leather gt350 wheel guy above. Thats a nice steering wheel.
