I’m assuming you mean one that has its own source of pressurization? If so, I don’t know of any. Foam guns don’t really work, they’re just glorified spray guns that mix the soap with the water. If you want good shaving cream like foam you’ll need a pressure washer and foam cannon.

Joe: I second Brian's emotion, don't waste your time and money on one of those chingassos. You will be very much dissatisfied, believe me.

Assuming you already have an electric PW Joe, If you want to foam in the most efficient and least time-intensive manner, run don't walk and get yourself an MTM Hydro PF-22, you'll thank me. <smile>

I agree, the self contained things that connect to a regular garden hose are pretty much useless. If you want a self contained rig (like a pump sprayer) an IK Foam Pro 12 is nice. Put in the solution, pump up and spray away just like a garden sprayer. However, making foam uses lots of pressure and you will be pumping frequently. I have the one with a Schrader valve that lets me charge it with my air compressor, much less stress on the old arms and shoulder

And for one that connects to a pressure washer, I agree with KB, the MTM PF22.2 is the gold standard. I love it so much I have 2 of them LOL..

Problem is amperage. To get that kind of pressure you need power…and a 6 amp hour battery won’t cut it.

I bought a foam gun that hooks up to the garden hose a few years ago to give try. Mainly for the days I felt lazy and didn’t want to hook up the pressure washer. Yeah, it sucked like a Hoover. Threw it in the garbage after one wash.

I love my IK pump sprayer for a quick spray down or engine bay detail with ONR rinseless. Matter of fact, just used it about a half hour ago to clean the engine bay and get some bugs off the front from my trip to Indy
