Had my hood open to hook up my battery tender and noticed mine is black? I thought they were silver?

Yeah, so it doesn't apply to the special edition cars, just the GT for some reason. They changed the engine cover as well to just straight black without the silver center section. Special edition cars don't have the cover either.

You're right, apparently the Mach1 gets the standard, silver GT brace, but with a unique plaque. I had to double check since my memory was off.

This is correct and correct on the no engine cover as well

Well, I know what color I am painting mine lol was either thinking black or matching it to the comp orange..
