The GT has the same CAI box not sure how one would acquire more from the aftermarket with the OEM is proven to handle more air flow than the 3.7 can draw.

I have the filter. It seemed to make the car a little quicker and gets better MPG. Nothing earth shattering

I removed the carbon trap from my stock airbox. It should help airflow but I really haven't noticed a difference.

Still...I am glad I did it. Next will be a more efficient dry filter.

This is the ONLY tube that I have found for the 2015+ V6

I think I read somewhere that this set up is good for 3-5HP. For the money NOT worth it.
AIRRAID makes a tube for the previous Mustang V6, but it won't fit the 2015+
The radius bend looks to be too short compared to stock to be of value.

Even with the accordion coupling and the helmholtz resonator wart the OEM set up seems to deliver at WOT. After those two items the sizing tappers down nicely encouraging velocity into the TB and manifold. The emissions taps are offset that should prevent disturbance.

I cut off and capped the helmholtz resonator at the air box for sound benefits.
Same can be done with the tube and minor ingenuity with a discipline that the seal fab will not end up in the intake.
