Stock 2017 Track Results

Took my bone stock 2017 GT to the track today. These cars are remarkably consistent I will say. I was hoping to hit a 12.9 but I couldn’t quite do it. Full loaded 401A car Auto with 3.15 gears. Best run was 13.01 @ 109.46. Seemed like drive mods didn’t really have much affect on the runs. Let me know what you guys think or what other with similar cars have run.

Track? Temperature? DA? Fuel? Probably pretty average for June weather in stock 17 auto. ;). Nice Cali Special. Had one same color in 14 model year.

DA I believe was about 2,200 bases on my app. Fontana drag strip isn’t really known for impressive times. It was about 78-80 degrees. Stock on CA 91 octane.

Better air high 12. Tune mid 12’s.

There are dozens of 3.15 gear A6 cars running at my tracks. Your times are in the ballpark in 2200 DA. Zinc is right on...lower DA will get you high 12s. Tune will get you mid 12s.

My bone stock went a 12.5 and 12.6 consistently. Low da here in maryland. With and without drag radial. Drag radial didnt improve that much since gearing is only 3.15. Mph was 111 and 112

Good numbers. DA makes a huge difference. Last fall, on a cool dry day with DA around 600, I was seeing a few cars like yours running mid 12s in stock form. When I was at the track a few days ago, the DA was nearly 4000 and 2015-2017s were in the 13s.

I definitely think the cars has upper 12s in it in stock form. Better DA and tires(my car came with some POS Hercules tires). I will go back soon with better tires, intake, catback. DA will probably be worse as summer works it way in, but we will see if she improves.

My issue was DA was poor and traction wasnt great. My tires currently on the car suck, if i stalled it up any more than 1,200 it would just blow them off. I am picking up a set of 2019 Performance pack wheels with nice Michelin tires in 275 which should help me.

A buddy I know just ran his 17 gt pp1 premium (3.73 manual car) this weekend. Only mods are Roush h pipe and Roush mufflers. 13.08 @ 108 mph. DA was up there and track is @ 1500’.
