First Track time stock

Took my stock 2015 gt pp Car to Maryland international raceway today. 13.1 at 110 mph was the best I could do. I had to leave at idle and shift 2nd slow. I need some drag radials.

I'm glad my first "mod" will be drag radials. Just wish I weren't racing at 5,000'.

Put tires on the car and u will be deep in the 12,s if ur not afraid to launch it.305/35/19 fit right on the stock pp wheels.U will hook with them.

I am thinking about buying a drag wheel setup and a tune. I plan to put axels in the car too but i hope the stockers holdup until I get the money. I would love to know what they can take.

How busy was the strip? I'm trying to get some guys together from my other forum to hit Mason Dixon. Might get a few guys from work as well. Unless we can get a guy to bring their truck I'll probably just run street tires.

You can go deep 12'a with tires but will probably break the axles as people have already done.

Some wheel hop if I hit 2nd too hard or left hard in 1st. I think I am going to put nittos on the stock rear wheel scans take my chances.

I think alot of the guys breakin axles on drag radials are launching the car with too high of a rpm or not letting out when wheel hop occurs.Drag radials will help with wheel hop some but u still have to know how to launch the car right.I have my drag radials now and am going to run again at the track witin the next week or so.I think the axles will hold up with the mods i have.Wheel hop kills axles!!!!!!!,u have to know when to just let off and save it for the next run.

Well 3rd time at the track yesterday it was hot 85 and 60% humidity at capitol raceway.I have tune cai and mak cat deletes,still on the pzeros.I ran 12.6 at 115 mph ,im having the moderator post the time slip today because i cant post pics with this galaxy 4 lol.If i had good air i think i could have got a 12.4.
