2020 GT Dragstrip results, stock vs 93 tune

Got my new PP1 a few weeks ago, managed to get to the track twice. First was a TnT, couldn't figure out how to leave without wheelhop, best pass was a 12.43 @ 115.
We had a rental last week and I got some good seat time.
Managed a best of 12.30 @ 115.53 with a 1.96 60' in 100% stock trim.
Loaded a 93 Diablo tune after a few stock runs, and instantly went 12.02 @ 117 1.93 60'.
I knew I could hustle it into the elevens at that point, so I let it cool for a bit then hit it.
1.94 / 11.92 / 118.16, followed 2 minutes later by 1.98 / 11.97 / 118.30

All of my best runs were made in Track Mode. Drag Mode has me all over the place with the Michelins. No traction issues getting out of the hole (soft ass 60') but the 1-2 shift has me super loose, and the 2-3 and 3-4 are clearly not helping with the amount of wheelspin.

I am working with my tuner to sort out the shifting to see if we can find some more improvement.

Pretty impressive little car though. DA was over 500' by the time I was making passes, probably much higher by the time I made these passes. Hoping to get back with some really good air soon and shoot for an 11.6X on 93 and stock tires.

Almost 3 mph and 3+ tenths from a tune on same day same track, with the quicker runs likely run at a slightly higher DA...I'm impressed as I wouldn't expect that kind of improvement with only a tune. Nice!

Agreed, I was not expecting that much. Between finding a little power and bumping the shift point to 7600 it really woke up. Logs showed it was still adding timing for most of the pull, so we'll lean on it a little more next time

my 2020 gt was also running 12.4's. The dealer filled up my tank with 87 gas, after I had asked them not to fill it up. I was pretty upset. I'm blaming the 12.4 to that cheap gas.

my 11.9 run was after I pumped 93 gas with stock tune.

I wish I had your rear end gears tho.

I made sure to work through the dealer delivered fuel before my first track outing, as they are notorious for putting junk in the tank of anything they deliver.
