Can anybody chime in on this?
Boldface mine. Apparently the sticker itself tells you to do this. The basis for this is most likely to avoid developing a "standing wave" in the tire/tire tread, which can destroy a tire in short order.

Standing waves in tires today probably aren't as extreme as they are in the picture I have attached, but that doesn't mean that small ones don't develop (and generate unneeded/unwanted flexing and heat generation).

Mustang Owner Manual 2015/Wheels and Tires/Driving at High Speeds said:
DRIVING AT HIGH SPEED
Tire pressure - Speeds greater than 100
mph (160 km/h)
WARNING
To reduce the risk of potential tire
failure that could lead to serious
injury or death, increase the front and
rear tire placard pressures by the amount
shown on the warning label, located on
either the driver side B-pillar or door, when
driving over 100 mph (160 km/h). Only
travel at speeds over 100 mph (160 km/h)
where it is legal and conditions allow. The
tire placard pressure can be found on the
tire placard located on either the driver side
B-pillar or door of your vehicle.

The base GT has a jittery pogo stick like ride, I have one and you can check your tire pressure on the base as well. I have the Pro Action Adjustable at 1/2 turn off full soft, rides and handles nice.;)
Thanks Trusty. Seems like normal tire pressure and Steeda shocks are the cure.

I'm confused.

I have a PP car, and it came with nitrogen in the tires (green stem caps), and the pressures of my tires are right around 35PSI. With the nitrogen, the pressures hardly vary with external temps.

Don't all PP cars come with nitrogen in the tires? Or is this something the dealership did?
