Front suspension question

When I turned my steering wheel there was a creaking sound. Especially turning the wheel all the way. The sound was intermittent and not constant. It is under warranty so I took it in to the Ford dealer. I received a VM that went like this. They are replacing the "front bar to the suspension". I tried to call back and reach the service rep without success. Would he be talking about the front stabilizer bar?
