It is plug and play, but those wires are there for additional possible features like front view camera etc..If I wrapped them up instead of just leaving them there...Ahhhhh...:frusty:
Ahh ok I see now! Hopefully there was no permeant damage to the screen!

There is one advantage to buying a Raxiom if they come out, it will be supported by American Muscle. I've seen thread of them replacing units for people in the 2011-2014's. Have fun getting a replacement directly from China.

So I pulled out the fuse of the 'Audio head unit' and it's melted! Really hope this little fuse prevented damage to the unit and screen. Thanks for the suggestion or I wouldn't think of checking the fuse. Now another question its amp rating is 20 so any 20A fuse would work? how about the voltage? Just want to make sure so wouldn't screw it up again..And any suggestion of place to buy it don't want to end up with a box of 50 fuses...

As far as I know, as long as you get the correct size fuse you only need to pay attention to the Amp rating. As for where to by... I would think an autoparts store will have what you are looking for.

It's going to be 12V as that's what the car runs on. This will almost certainly be a blade-style fuse. You can use any 20-Amp fuse of the same dimensions (but not a full-size fuse in place of a micro, etc.).

You can buy fuses at Wal-Mart or any auto-parts store. You can generally buy them in boxes of 10, or you can buy a larger box with assorted sizes/amperages.

Could you upload some pictures of the kit once you install it? I'm very interested in getting one as well!

I did. However, it was a little premature. The person who is doing some "work" on this subject asked me to hold off. Stay tuned. I'm very surprised and excited to all who want this.
