Steps and advice for replacing pads and rotors?

Hey all,

Replacing my pads and rotors for the first time on my non-pp 2015 GT. Picked up a set of 4 rotors and pads from R1 concepts.

Can anyone give me the steps I need to take and what tools I'll need or any tips that will make it easier?

I used a $17.00 tool like this - worked very well, but I’m on PP Brembos. I’d assume the base 4 pots are just like any other system. If you haven’t drained the fluid in a while most will tell you to bleed at the caliper and replace with new fluid.
