Does anyone know the differences between the 2015-17 and the 2018+ steering wheels?

What exactly are the differences? If anyone has any website references or even pictures of the 2 side by side? I'm curious, I'm trying to diagnose fitment issues.

The airbags are slightly different, locating holes in different places afaik, definitely not interchangeable without the correct Years airbag.

So here’s the thing…the difference is kinda irrelevant….they are not interchangeable. Don’t try to make it work.

As stated above, the airbags are different making it to where a 15-17 will not properly secure to a 18+. And an 18+ won’t properly secure to a 15-17.

Found this thread after realizing I ordered the wrong dahm wheel. Grinded into the guide pawls on the airbag a little before realizing thinking it was just shoddy 3rd party quality. its close but don't think I'll be removing any more material.. :(
