So I got the new battery in and installed and same issue present no difference honestly. Wondering what I should be checking next. Could an allignment be causing my issues. Could I have knocked my allignment off when hitting potholes. Should I try to reset/relearn. the steering angle sensor.
Go back to the beginning. If you feel intermittent resistance or binding when the car is moving, but do not feel this when the car is stationary, it seems implausible that it is a mechanical problem. The most steering force is applied when the car is moving slowly, or not at all. As the vehicle speed increases, the electric assist reduces the amount of pressure it applies.

I'll go back and check on everything again when i got enough time. I'll lube up the intermediate steering shaft joints. I'll jack the car up and rock the tire for any play. Would it be worth trying to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. I do have a nice obd scanner that I can read all kinds of live data and functions. If maybe I can watch what the steering angle sensor or maybe what the epas is doing. If it's epas would u think I'd get codes for it?

Perhaps.

Generally when you feel binding in the steering (if not some module or electrical gremlin acting up) it is caused by the balljoints, Strut plates, or tie rod ends being worn out. Usually these items will make a creeking or grinding type noise as you turn the steering wheel. But again, you should be able to hear and repeat this if it is a mechanical issue

OP, do you have PP1 or PP1 control arms?

I "upgraded" to the PP1 arms and my steering bound up. I hated it.

So I haven't done much but I do have some pscm codes.
U3000:49-C8 control Module
U3003:16-48 Battery Voltage
U0415:00-48 Invalid Data Received From ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) Control module
New battery now so I'm sure the second one is fine.

I'm not sure tbh I've had the car for almost 2 years and haven't had a single issue really until now. I'm pretty sure it's the regular control arms. Is there a way to tell the difference? Also after I reset the battery light. I used the car brights and brake pedal. I waited 8 hours. And did it with the scanner but the battery light keeps coming back on. No signs of a weak battery whatsoever

Okay so I can feel a little bit a funniness in the wheel when stationary now, just a tiny bit and onlt when almost full lock. Like it doesnt straight up turn smooth like it used to. Although when standing still its pretty smoothm. Almost feels like something might be loose. Idk I'm going to check over everything again right now and see what I can find. For looseness. Also to note. It seems to have maybe been a more prominent issue when I had my subs up really high taking power or maybe it was just me
