Go back to the beginning. If you feel intermittent resistance or binding when the car is moving, but do not feel this when the car is stationary, it seems implausible that it is a mechanical problem. The most steering force is applied when the car is moving slowly, or not at all. As the vehicle speed increases, the electric assist reduces the amount of pressure it applies. So I got the new battery in and installed and same issue present no difference honestly. Wondering what I should be checking next. Could an allignment be causing my issues. Could I have knocked my allignment off when hitting potholes. Should I try to reset/relearn. the steering angle sensor.
