Installed my rails, about a 15min job and they are great. I like that the are powder coated, and well built. With my floor jack I can lift both wheels off the ground with 3 pumps. Should be everyone's first mod.

i'm not even 100% sure i'll be getting a mustang, but just the fact that a product like this exists for them makes me want the GT PP even more. i'll order a set just in case i get a mustang haha! freakin' BMWs and their stupid little plastic jack pads!!!!!!!!

BMR claims that their jacking rails increase the rigidity of the car. I was wondering if the same can be said about these rails or if the rigidity claims are even true.

C4 corvette guys added braces similar to these to their cars with great success but C4s are notorious for the flexible frames and I feel that the S550 wouldn't see any benefit from this other than the piece of mind when lifting the car.

Any thoughts?

Unless there are several bolts along the rail length, or it is welded in place, then I don't think there can be any chassis stiffening.

Just ordered these, then also ordered the Stage 1 progressive kit and billet sway bar mounts. I needed to give the wife a reason for the jacking rail purchase.
