Quick question before I pull the trigger on these...how durable are these jacking rails?

Ultra lite generally tells me some kind of compromise in durability is done to achieve weight reduction.
It's a brand term (Ultralite springs, Ultralite jacking rails, etc.) we typically use when a part is lightweight. No compromise in durability whatsoever.

Roger that...thanks for clarifying; my concern was due to the significant weight difference between brands. (IE: lighter / softer metal used hence it would generally be weaker)

The jacking rails theoretically do increase chassis torsional and bending stiffness, although these benefits will be small.
Have you by any chance done a "before-and-after" test for increased chassis stiffness on a convertible? I am hoping it will make more of a difference on a convertible than on a coupe (even though they weren't designed for this purpose).

No I don't believe we have performed that test, again these are really meant to provide ease of use when jacking the car up in addition to a minute increase in chassis stiffness :)

I want to order these but I still can't use my reward points. Rod said some people can use it and some can't.

Ordered mine last Tuesday from Steeda Canada.
Hope mine is on the list :hail:
Please keep me posted with regards to your experience with "Steeda" Canada. My experience with them (Customer service/shipping times) has been horrible, which has forced me to deal with the REAL Steeda in the US.

Yea Steeda Canada's website has such a poor hosting service it won't even load.

I know the web site sucks:frusty:
I had to call them to order cause it's a new product.
I gotta tell you, very responsive over the phone and email replies:thumbsup:
The problem is that they have to order from the US so it takes some time:doh:
I'll post the day I receive them to let you guys know, and as I said, my purchase date is September 22nd, let's see what the received date will be:shrug:

They're responsive on the phone and promise the world! Their follow through though with false promises is what got me. In a nutshell, I ordered something that was "In Stock". Two weeks passed, then a month, still nothing. They told me there was a backorder and they'd overnight it to me when it was in... after two months, I finally received my order which was shipped the cheapest, slowest way possible. Good luck!

Rod said if you order via the site you'll obtain rewards points, whereas if you order via phone you wouldn't. We're working out one last minute item regarding the points redemption before we can launch it. You will still accrue the points now, though.
