The original verticle links have CNC machined Delrin bushings and sleeves.

The New urethane version are a little more price competitive, the durometer is softer then the Delrin

Both are made in our Georgia facility.

I have a brand new set of the previous version sitting on my bench waiting to be fitted. I'm wondering if I should now send them back and get the new ones. Presumably the softer durometer makes a difference to something, what difference would I notice between old and new in usage?

Delrin version has more control for wheel hop than the urethane.
Urethane is softer than the Delrin, slightly harder than the factory rubber bushing, and has no voids.
Urethane version is more used for entry level performance and road race applications.

Very interested in these. I was just about to buy another brand of poly links. These look lighter.

Absolutely. However i'm not sure in that application it would increase NVH noticeably.

No difference between red or black. The duramoter stiffness is the same.

Oh Mike you beat me to it! I was just coming here to post that picture. I had the vertical links with the delrin bushings but really liked the idea of adding in just a little more compliance with the urethane. I'm not drag racing and the vertical links with the other wonderful Steeda IRS goodies have completely eliminated my wheel hop so I figured I'd give these a try! I think a little compliance when braking hard into a corner or launching out of a corner would be better.

The install was an absolute breeze! I guess because of the bushings having a little give, I was able to thread the bottom bolt with no trouble at all, didn't even need "convincing". I did take a little extra time to clean the area really well before the install and was generous with the Energy Suspension lube, I love that stuff!

I'm really glad I made this move, even though I really liked the delrin version to start with. For my street application, this makes a lot more sense. I don't know, maybe placebo effect but I swear the ride is even a little better with these?! I don't have a real way to measure so i can't say for sure. Thanks Steeda for another wonderful product and supporting our platform and community!

Posting the pic again just because I love my Steeda blue and billet! Soon I'll be adding just a little more blue!
