I couldn't decide whether to spend $300 on FP, $330 on Steeda or $500 on Borschlaaaag so I spent $1200 on SPL adjustable front LCAs and tension arms instead :giggle:

Does anyone make a camber plate with a real bearing in it? Like a coil over?

or have I misunderstood ?
Yep.

A bearing like when the strut assembly is bolted together and you can spin the top plate.

They all have real bearings in them, otherwise you couldn't steer the car. Products like the Steeda plates and OEM re-use the factory bearing and upper spring mount. Products like Vorshlag provide a replacement bearing and upper spring mount. They all do the same thing. The argument as to which is better isn't something I'm interested in. I have a set of Vorshlags on the shelf that I took off to install the Steeda's. For my purposes the Steeda's have been very successful.

Anyone try/have the Maximum Motorsports C/C plates for the S550?

I have all MM parts on my Foxbodies and they are second to none. I've tried all other brands over the past 25 years, MM FTW.

Not personally but if you do a search you’ll find threads. Some reports of people not getting as much camber as they wanted (IIRC). MM parts arent as popular on the S550. Not sure if theres a good reason other than they just dont put as much effort into supporting this platform

For aftermarket plates I can vouch for the Steeda units - they do the job with no drama, and Vorshlag are the gold standard if you just need to pay a lot.

Let me know if I can help assist with the Steeda units - i'll send you a discount code to use for consideration.

Best Regards,

TJ
Can I still take you up on that? Was hoping for a discount with the black friday sale but there is none.
