Haven't seen any data on this but I'm looking to dress up my engine bay and squeeze any handling performance I can out of the car.

I currently have the PP1 pack and I was looking at Steeda's strut tower brace for something lighter and possibly offering an improvement over the stock part? Would it be worth the $180 for it?

3lbs Lighter than production. Remember weight is the enemy of performance. More info on the link below.

Ford GT350R brace is aluminum but more expensive and I've only seen it offered with the K brace that you already have.

Lolol. No.

It's a brace. Literally piece of metal. Anyone thinks that 3lb matters on 3,900lb street car is out of his mind... Trunk liner weighs about that.

$150 for 3 lbs is not worth it no.

I’d also get a second opinion on the weight savings, my lightweight rotors didn’t save nearly as much as advertised when I weighed them vs the worn stock parts. Luckily I really like the way they look :)

Yes, & the more weight you take out ... the better :)

Every little bit counts :):)

I just installed the strut tower brace this past weekend - I haven't pushed the car incredibly hard yet in corners but I can feel the car is more planted & more stable in some of the corners + it looks a lot cooler under the hood.

A small investment for some decent returns - we add them to most of our Steeda Performance Vehicles & we haven't' had one complaint :O

In the end, 3lbs by itself won’t do ya much but if this is a progressive build and you plan on more parts... well, Steeda does have the Silver Bullet as proof of purchase lol.

I had the Steeda left over from my 2016 car. Sold it just because the factory STB was fine, looked good, and was already installed. The oil dipstick is no big deal - it's all in the wrist.

Most people have a 3# fluctuation in body weight from day to day. Eat less and you will probably see better results than spending $150 on a slightly lighter part. ;)
