Steeda strut tower brace installation

Installed per provided instructions however the studs on the outside are not completely engaged through the nut. Close but not completely. Problem or not?

Mine where the same and 3 of the nuts on the strut bolts stripped when using a torque wrench to the required 35ft-lbs in the install instruction. I ordered up a box of grade 5 (strongest I could find in that thread size) nylock nuts from McMaster-Carr. They torqued down with no issue to the factory spec of 46ft-lbs. I went back after each time the car was driven to re-torque all the nuts. For the first three consecutive checks they all torqued down another 1/2 turn or so. That has stopped. Seems they need to be checked until things settle in.

After reading Sooter McGee’s post I checked mine and all but one needed an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn after only about 25 miles. The fact that the stud threads are not fully engaged into the nylon of the nut concerns me.

The replacement nuts I ordered where just a bit thinner than the ones sent with the bar. You can tell they go down the bolt just a bit more getting into the nylock part. One thing to keep in mind is the Steeda bar used 4 mounting points over a Ford brace for example.
