How's the install on this? I also have the transmission bushing/insert ready to go in. Is it worth the time to drop the x-pipe to install this?
I have the MBRP race cat back with 3'' pipes and I didn't have to drop them. Took me all of 15 minutes to install this.

Hmmm. I am very intrigued as I want to get rid of the dreaded thud I have. Wondering if a full shifter would be better? Certainly more expensive. I'm not going drag racing or anything, just looking to eliminate the thud that the dealer said is "normal". :(

I installed mine yesterday. I love it. Shifts are much more positive and solid feeling. Initially I still have the thud, but it seems to occur less? I'll keep an eye out the next few days. No noticeable nvh, not like Id care anyways with how good the shifter feels now. Next week I'll install the transmission bushing. Then after that the bg synchro shift fluid. Doing in stages to see the differences each make.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Interested to see how the different stages affect the 'thud.'

The shifter definitely feels more crisp going into gear. It still does have the extreme notchy feel when it's cold, and occasionally on warmed up shifts. I'm assuming the fluid change will help that the most.
