Would it be easier to do this while I'm swapping my exhaust? While the stock exhaust is off the car?
I think I would be.

I did the white line insert first , it helped some ... added the Steeda rear shifter mount and it fixed all my shifting problems !!! I got NO NVH at all from either of them .. before I did these two mods I was wishing I had got a 6 speed auto... Not now ..

Hmmmm ..... I might have to throw the white line bushing in this car to see if nvh changes any. It helped the shift feel in my 12 but the nvh was unbearable, even with the center cut out.

Just purchase the Steeda transmission mount bushing very minimal vibration.

The durometer of our bushing is different than the Whiteline one - many of our customers have reported little to no NVH increase post-install.

Interesting...
I may have to get one from you. I really have no complaints with the trans in this car (or my 12 for that matter) I can bang gears at redline without the lockout some complain about. My 15 has no ''left turn nibble'' going from 1-2 like my 12 did. The new car feels a lot better than my old one.

Would I still be able to use the shifter bushing if I eventually upgraded to a short throw shifter later on? Or would I need this if I upgrade to the Tri-Ax or Ford Racingshort throw?

NVH was way too much. Have stock exhaust and could hear and feel it thoughout the car. Entire car felt harsh and buzzy at 50+ mph.
Very little improvement in shifter feel. The "thud" got worse.
Removing in the morning. Very disappointed.:brokenheart:

Well you're the first one to say the NVH was too much out of everyone that's installed it - some people are more sensitive to it than others. If your car has a 'thud,' you may want to take it into the dealer to get checked out. We make no promise this product will fix any 'thuds' - either way thanks for the feedback.

I know David...read all the reviews, couldn't wait to install. I didn't really think it would help with the thud, but now shakes when thuds. I double checked everything and I'm disappointed and confused! If I could take you for a ride, you'd see what I mean by harshness. The exhaust feels and sounds like you ran the pipes inside the car. Love Steeda products, have for many years.

Are you talking about the trans bushing or the shifter bracket kit? The shifter bracket should not add any nvh. I had one on my 12 too. I put the Whiteline trans bushing in my 12 and even with the center cut out the nvh was unbearable for me, and I had an off road x without resonators at the time.

Shifter bracket kit. I triple check everything this morning, then reinstalled stock one. All NVH is gone. After all the reviews I seem to be the only one that experienced this. Plan to try it again when I do the exhaust and add a little Dynomat. I liked the feel of the shifter with it. YMMV.

How's the install on this? I also have the transmission bushing/insert ready to go in. Is it worth the time to drop the x-pipe to install this?
