What type of paint did you use? Is that Oxford white? I really like the look and I'm sold on this system. Just have to wait till after Christmas. Suck with the great deal going on. wish steeda sold a painted version of there CAI. Like JLT does.

It's Oxford white, had a shop paint it up. David made mention to his guys about doing a paint to match from them but idk how far along that's gotten yet. They are a well made system and David is by far the best rep I have worked with, you can't go wrong with this system

I got the 10mm sound tube nut pulled from that long-ass stud on the firewall in preparation for my Steeda CAI installation. Hopefully it arrives by this Saturday. Maybe the sound tube will just fall off between now and then...lol.

Looking forward to your painted CAI, dib is my favorite color for the s550 bet it will look awesome with the aluminum MAF housing

quick question. this "mustang 5.0L" tune that is on my sct x4 that I think is preloaded?... can I use that now and get this intake on or should I wait on steeda tune?

Thanks glad you like it! Rest of it got dropped off for powdercoat today, and yup just took it to a local shop to have painted, could have done myself but I'm hardly ever home. You won't be disappointed with this product it's awesome quality and David is top notch to work with

That should be the SCT canned tune your referring too. I'm not sure if that can be used with an intake with a larger diameter than stock. I would not recommend using unless you were to get clarification from SCT.
