Same here, the tune is in hand but with only 2100 miles on the car l can't seem to pull the trigger with the SCT quite yet. The nice thing is l can still enjoy even the small bump of power from the non-tune configuration.
Ya my issues are multiple, I'm really lame at DIY, I live in Cali, so it's not legal, I don't want to void my warranty, I guess you could say my Black Friday brain took over from my common sense brain for a bit. Honestly the biggest issue is I'm afraid something will go wrong with the install and I'll be stick without my car for a time, it's my only car so that wouldn't work.

I sure know what you mean, spent way more than l should have and much of it the wife doesn't know about.
I also went through not having a back-up vehicle too many times when l was younger. Almost as soon as l got my own place it was a truck that became my back-up vehicle and hauler. It was my race car hauler, parts hauler, garbage hauler, firewood hauler, camp trailer hauler...etc. Thinking back on it now l'm not sure how l got along without it.
Maybe you could get to know some fellow members from the forum or through a club or something?

It's like one of the easiest things that you can install on this car

Sorry guys I had to repost the dyno results and please disregard the information i provided earlier. I had a chance to talk to Demon Coyote who is the red line in the dyno graph for comparison and apparently he even had long tubes with his setup. Long tubes, cai, catback, and 93 Octane Lund tune. I ve also seen a youtube video of an LS3 corvette with full bolts on and tune putting down 405 whp on the same exact dyno and shop.Their dyno reads pretty low.

Demon told me he also put down 440 whp at another dyno shop with the same exact setup. So my guess is my car might be a factory freak and the only way to find out is to hit the track when the weather warms up.

However I still recommend this intake to everyone. Its really well made intake and David from Steeda was pretty helpful. I did my first long highway driving and the IAT's stayed around 4 to 5 degree above ambient (60 mph+ cruise). One certain thing i can tell is when i merge on the interstate with this intake versus stock on a 3rd gear pull from 60 mph to 80 mph the pull is just amazing and i loose traction most of the time it is little scary when the back end kicks in going above 65 mph! It definitely pulls harder than the stock intake setup.

Totally recommend this intake! Well done Steeda:thumbsup:

There's still too many factors to consider since the dynos were run on different days. I'd imagine something was up with his dyno runs.

He made 440 whp on another dyno shop. I think FLP's dyno reads lower. I ve found a full bolts on and tune ls3 corvette dyno putting down 405 whp and 405 lbft, 2002 z06 full bolts on and tune putting down 387 whp and 371 lbft in the same shop. Those are pretty low numbers if you ask me. He is getting an AED tune and going on the same dyno this Friday, hope to see him putting down 420+ whp with E85 tune! I might be there as well.
