Best $500 I ever spent. I like how when cruising, it has a low rumble, and acceleration sounds really good. Has more of that muscle car sound vs the raspiness the roush axle back has.

Definitely the best option if you have, or plan on adding long tubes.

Mike at Beefcake racing made the transaction smooth as silk so shoutout to those guys and Terry.

I agree, amazing deep muscle car sound. Although I wish I didn’t do an H-pipe prior. The combination is waaay too loud for me.
If anyone has the factory suitcase resonator, I’ll buy it from you lol.

I normally do cat-back exhausts, but even those are a bit louder on the 18+
So I decided to do an axle back and happened to find it on sale and really enjoy the sound.
I like cruising and flying under the radar sound wise, but having it sound good when I put my foot down.

With an H-Pipe and Steeda (assuming you’re talking the “aggressive axle-back) there is absolutely no flying under the radar no matter how hard you try LOL.
Going from stock, to just an H-Pipe, made the car quite a bit louder. Then taking off the huge factory mufflers, and slapping on them tiny Steeda ones - Lol -yeah, you can be heard miles away.

Have you thought about adding some performance mufflers to help quiet it down? I hear the borla resonator also does a good job of it.

The exhaust shop mentioned it, I haven’t had time to go in and have them measure (I never drive the car).
Here’s how it sounds lol
Thankfully it’s less than 103db, the track max level.

This man came in with aggression lol. Doesn’t sound bad. Just volume wise.

🤣 My buddy is in the 911 in front of me. I like to try and stay close and follow his lines, he’s a better driver than me lol.
And yeah, it’s just LOUD lol.

I would highly suggest against it. Mine sits in the garage 99.7% of its life lol.
With a car that nice it should be out more! I thought about getting another c5z06 to track in the future. Just don’t have the time now unfortunately.

I bought it almost entirely to track, and have a few other DD’s. Don’t get me wrong, I love and do enjoy driving it. R10 G-Loc pads are definitely not for the street (sounds like a parade of mice). I ordered factory Ford street pads and I have street setup of wheels/tires coming next week as well. I’ll switch everything over and drive it more I’m sure.
