I should record this, but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about. When you start your 2018 GT, it cycles something for about the first 30 seconds. It sounds like an air hose shooting air, then quiets down. It also has a sound that reminds me of a bad bearing in an electrical motor, but then drops off just after the hissing noise around 40 seconds like clockwork.

What are these noises?

Mustang owners must need an option for 15 hard wired stethoscopes mounted inside the cabin attached to the engine in multiple places. Then you’d catch all the noises... lol:

Could be your muffler bearings. This video isn't a Mustang, but the install is all the same.

LOL. I'm not saying anything is wrong. Car runs like a top. It's just that with this new engine, there's so many noises that do appear to be normal, but I just don't know what they are. It's just nice to understand how this all works.

Are you hearing this from inside the car or outside? I don’t hear anything like that from inside, and don’t recall hearing it outside either but will listen next time I remote start.
