BBR Tuned the car - the power is ok, the driveability needs to be cleaned up

AEM Tru boost - now in the garbage unless someone wants to buy it

Replaced it with a Dawes Device, used one on each of my last 6 turbo cars - no issues, no boost spike, no boost creep.

The motor was replaced with a factory 2015 crate motor at the dealer, my friend is the chief mechanic and made sure it was a 2015 motor
The Dawes Device, did you just place that where the AEM solenoid was in the vacuum lines? I was looking at doing one as well and ditching my AEM and getting a good ole sweep boost gauge...

I guarantee my car is running well into the 10's....no times yet because of the heat. Cars do not make power in the heat, prone to have more detonation in the heat and its sucks sweating your ass off. It just doesn't make any sense to me to go to the track right now.
My car was the first FI 2015 that TSS tuned. I have absolutely no shifting issues at all.

Here is good update on my car...

I have been still working with BBR on the tune and they are getting the tranny settings dialed in. Its on about 11lbs. now. Should be close to 700rwhp or more. Traction (even with my 305 drag radials) is starting to become an issue :headbang:

Finally took it out to the track. I thought we were going to have better air but it started out around 6500ft. DA and finished at 5800ft. The kit is on pump gas with some torco and seeing about 11lbs of boost. It's real tough to launch with the stock converter and tall tires (305/35/20)...

Using a calculator to convert to closer to sea level brings that some where near low 10's trapping high 130's. Not bad for stock motor, tranny and half shafts...

i seen the post on FB..Good effort , with a 3500 stall converter you'll drop into the 1.50s 60 fts (TCI just jumped on the GT band wagon now and has 3 new models ) and mid 10s and will def need a drag rear tire , 3
another dood is running low 10s with his F1a no issues so far w the half shafts..Impressive,ill be ordering a power adder myself soon

That is scooting for such a heavy car! Congrats! I want this system bad and have the wife's approval, I just need to save my pennies. Any videos of the run?

Density Altitude.

It is a correction factor used to describe relative air quality. As you go higher air is less dense and an internal combustion engine will make less power due to less oxygen available for combustion in a given cylinder volume.

Since your height above sea level isn't the only thing that effects air density (barometric pressure, relative humidity, etc.) you can actually be at sea level but have air quality that is as if you were at a higher height or vice versa.

So the higher the DA the lower quality the air and the worse your times should theoretically be.

How do you find out what the DA is? Does the track tell you?

Sorry for going of topic.
