Was thinking about this yesterday after I watched the video. I am sure you drive great. But I would not redline a TT coyote on a one lane road. Even with the best tires it could get squirrely at any time. Enjoy and be safe.
Why? What's the danger of redlining a TT coyote?

Copious torque and limited exit paths lol... I don't take it out of sixth unless I'm on an 8-lane super highway.

Sorry...

Its been 100+ degrees here everyday and then last night I started installing the boost controller and wrapping more pipe. For some reason the instructions don't have you do the passenger side up pipe. So while I was there removing wastegates and installing items I decided to wrap the passenger up pipe.

I should be finishing up the boost controller and wideband install soon and new videos on 9lbs should be up this weekend!!!

Is the passenger side considered the "cold" side of the system ? Perhaps thats why it di not have it included in the wrap ?

if you have time to could you list all the items you needed to get in addition to the hellion kit itself,,, thanks
I'll rethink and see if I can come up with something. The kit was pretty much all inclusive. I've bought just mostly extra heat wrap, heat tape and stainless zip ties. That would get the kit going...

From there I also added:
Boost Controller
Wideband AFR Gauge
Catch Can and appropriate hoses and fittings
Tires

Both sides have a hot pipe, well 2 really 1 going into the turbo and one coming out. The driver side is more space limited and closer to items that need to be protected so I'm guessing that's why. The cold side of the kit is all in the front, going from the turbo's to the intercooler and then from the intercooler to the throttle body.

Ahh ok. I do not know a lot about turbo's just what I pickup from some guys at the shop who have them on their cars. Those are usually imports.

what kind of boost controller did you go with
and have you tried any of the wideband o2 tuners?
I went with the AEM Truboost...

Any updates?
Over the weekend I got the car finished up and going again. With the boost controller now I turned it up to 8-9lbs and did some logging. It also helps now that I have a wideband O2 that is downstream from the turbos to get accurate AFR numbers. The tune was just a little off so I sent some logs over and awaiting the re-tune. It was night and day difference from 6lbs to 9lbs!!! Its ALOT faster...

Just waiting the retune and some more logging to make sure it is all good to go. Then some more vids and dyno numbers will follow :D

And a picture just to keep the thread interesting. The car is anxiously awaiting a new tune.

Did you buy the car intending on the TT? How long did you drive before install?
I was considering a GT-350 but a brand new GT and the helion TT kit for a total of $43k is very interesting.

I just had a previous 2014 customer pick up a 2015, has 200 miles on it and ordered a hellion today with the quick spools!

I didn't intend to do the Hellion kit. I picked up the car in November. Coming from a GT500 I knew I was going to do boost to hold me over until the potential new GT500 came out.

I had about 3500 miles on the car before I did the twin setup. I waited just so I could see some other kits out there, get the bugs worked out, etc. But that is part of the game when buying a brand new generation car...
