Well dyno numbers are in ... Dyno jet dyno STD scale 401 HP and 347 TQ ...SAE HP was 390 ... A/F was 14.2 up to 14.4 ... Made one pull and stopped after seeing the A/F ratio ... This was just a dyno run , no tuner or tools on sight to remap it ..It was just a dyno pull to get a base line ..Looks to be down about 35+ HP from what it should have ..

Good news is I now know why the car ran slower at the track... :( Bad News is I need to spend more money.. :(
Dont put too much faith in the dyno wideband, when they start to fail they usually read lean. Your car comes with accurate widebands, why not just do a wot pass in like 3rd gear starting at a low rpm, you'll see right away if your car is going into wot fueling on your factory air/fuel gauge, it should be around 11.5/1, if it doesnt go to commanded just let out, these cars will not tolerate being lean for too long before damage happens.

Dont put too much faith in the dyno wideband, when they start to fail they usually read lean. Your car comes with accurate widebands, why not just do a wot pass in like 3rd gear starting at a low rpm, you'll see right away if your car is going into wot fueling on your factory air/fuel gauge, it should be around 11.5/1, if it doesnt go to commanded just let out, these cars will not tolerate being lean for too long before damage happens.
I have and she stays right at 14+ on the dash gauge ..:eyebulge:

One thing to keep in mind, if a crank relearn is not performed properly the car will not go into wot fueling, something you may want to look at.

There is no way this car lost HP by adding headers unless the tune is way off ..I'd say 14+ A/F is the cause not the headers .. It's in the tune , it has to be ..It should be around 13.1 to 13.2 A/F to make the best HP ...

Good that you bring that up ... I did the crank relearn twice after I replace the clutch and flywheel .. The SCT X4 showed or said crank learn ok ..Maybe it didn't and just told me it did ? How could one tell if it didn't ?

Either way I had not changed the clutch the last time I was at the track testing the headers and new maps .. The car was down 3 tenths and 4 MPH .. The car had no top end pull ... Very flat pull with both tunes ..

Really ? that rich ? my turbo bikes with 20 psi boost only run 11.9 to 12 to be safe ..

Yes the run very rich compared to other setups, they are fairly high compression and run a decent amount of timing with a high flowing head, they require a good bit of fuel.

Maybe you have faulty 02 extensions? Can only really be that or the crank relearn if it wont go into wot fueling. I have the stainless works on my car and it responded very well to them, throttle response and power is far better then stock but that is simply in the tune.

Well I could check them if I knew how ...I would think if there was a problem with the 02s it would toss a code , same with the crank sensor ..

Seems to make sense seeing my problems started with the header install ..

At this point I'm about ready to toss the headers in the trash and reinstall the stock headers ..

I wouldnt give just up yet, when installed and tuned correctly the gains from headers are very good and the throttle response can be much better then stock.

I understand what you are saying .. But two months of this crap has me at my breaking point ..I'm a pretty easy going guy but I can only take so much ..4 tuners now and I'm no where .. The time and money I have spent most people would have already gone postal on some one . I have bit my lip and not said names or bad talked anyone at this point , it's not like me to do that . I'll be the first one to tell you I don't know what going on but it seems the Pros don't either .Some body please point me in the right direction . All I want to do is go to the track and enjoy my car .. :(
