Thanks Beefcake, But don't all tracks follow NHRA safety rules? We live in RI, so I have to drive like 125 miles to Epping , NH .

I would hate to do all the work, drive up there excited to run the car for the day and get kicked out??

most do, but sometimes you have private events and things that will let you slip by

The NHRA changed the rules a while back about cages.

Cars that are 2008 and newer, I believe can go 9.99 or slower without a cage now.
Since factory cars were going 10's stock, have lots of airbags, etc.
The NHRA realized the 11.49 rule was pretty out dated.

I heard there is some "grey area" there.
But hey, there are a LOT of really fast cars making passes these days, at tracks without cages. I remember getting thrown out a LOT at every track I went to for not having a proper cage.

Guys, i know the updated programming has gone out for the Procharger Stage II kits. I'm close to pulling the trigger on the kit, but want to make sure you guys are happy now. Otherwise i'll have to look at Whipple. My goal is 625 to 650 whp.

There was only a very few number of cars that had issues with the STG2 ever.... like maybe 2 or 3. Since the update we have had no complaints.

Over 600hp, with normal gas is very easy to do with the stock STG2 kit, and stock tuning.

At the crank or at the Wheels. I am pulling the trigger on this this week and want make sure I make the right decision. Does the Stage II Kit come standard with the Red race valve?

It comes with the standard.
There is no reason for a race valve till after the 750-800rwhp mark.
You can do a "bullet" style valve that looks like a mini race valve, and fits better.

600 to the wheels, has been done on 91 fuel, on a Mustang Dyno.

Correct, I made 600whp on 9psi (mustang Dyno) with the Bullet style valve from ProCharger. 91 octane.
