Well i liked the roush but in some videos it does sound insanely loud... so what other options i have for less than $600?

I was thinking the BBK Varitune & the RTR performance...

Any info on these 2? Any other options?

BTW The borla is out of my budget... :\
Save up and get a Corsa or Borla/FRPP by Borla axleback. You won't regret waiting.

Hey AL! Yea i saw this video earlier and im evaluating this option, i wish there were more videos or users with it, but it sounds pretty good in that video.

It's also pretty good priced it looks similar to roush. i got a quote from someone for $53 shipping us priority 3 days to the caribbean via ebay.

So i'm thinking the loudmouth II first..., second bbk varitune & maybe the RTR comp. if i can get a good deal on it really liked the rtr just gets over $750 shipped which is too much.

I can get the loudmouth for $506 & the varitune around $620

Just need a couple more videos or thoughs on the loudmouth for me to do the buying click...

The Borla catback is a nicer setup the the FRPP by Borla catback.

The X-pipe quality is better on the Borla catback.
I know the mufflers sound a bit different as well...but sound is a personal preference thing.

My slp loudmouth 2 will arrive tomorrow... I went to a muffler shop with the J&M x-pipe and ran into an issue...

According to worker he said that expanding the x pipe for it to fit over rear pipes could be trouble because it is 304 steel and not 409 steel which is stronger and harder to manipulate and could crack or break...

So he recommended me to use a piece of tube metal adapter in between both fit both sides in strongly and weld.

IS this a bad idea...? Should i go on with his recommendation or go somewhere else...

Kinda regretting buying this x-pipe if that's the case becuase it's even worse than the SR xpipe issue.

He told me to bring the car when i have SLP's to also weld them & do it all together for a $100.

You can use a butt joint clamp to put it all together and if you're worried, have them tack weld the clamp on both sides once it's tight so that it doesn't loosen.

Yep, but i am going to take the risk and tell him to expand the other end of the x pipe, if it breaks well then just weld it back. After seeing some videos im pretty sure it can be done.

Why do you have to extend the X pipe to fit over the rear pipes? It's a direct fit. I had no issues installing my x-pipe.

Mine came without the extended ends.. Maybe i should contact them If they are supposed to be that way.. Were you able to fit them over the factory tubes? It only came with the other end compressed

AM gave me a good deal on their res delete - so I scooped one up.

I am under the impression that the front mounts like the OE piece, and the rear is the same size....and if you make the cuts properly, you simply clamp the rear to the OE catback....

I see people saying that they had to enlargen or weld the rears....yet, I see others say "just make good cuts and it all goes together fine"

Guess I will know soon.

Yes...if you make good cuts and use a good butt-joint clamp, it'll be fine. Summit Racing has one that will slip over the cut pipes, though, at a good price, ensuring a better (leak-free) joint.

Another possible option, aluminized steel.

My LM2 and X-pipe have arrived... Tomorrow i will install both only worried about the x pipe rear end install... gonna try to tell them to expand the ends i don't like the idea of an exhaust adapter with weld. Rather have it expand fit over stock tube and clamp just in case i need to remove or am happy with it i can decide on welding later.

Rather have it this way too instead of butting pipes and clamping...

Has anybody had their 304 steel pipe expand before? Shop guy said he could try but it might break...let me know if i shouldn't take the risk... going to the shop in the afternoon.
