I used a magoflo resonated x with some generic steeda / roush clones with the same result... super loud in low rpm and quiet in higher rpms

That's not a surprise. The Magnaflow resonated X-pipe is designed to reduce volume compared to a standard X.

Maybe yawl should look up resonator, it's whole purpose... is to... cancel out sound waves :facepalm:. That said, I went with Ford Performance M-5220-M8 and Roush Axle backs on mine. No car inspections in TN, so no baffles. Nice, loud start up, idles not as loud. Retarded at WOT...
