i would have the shop have them weld or make the flared i though the J&M solved the issue... guess i should have of bought the SR anyways. Theses long clamp that come with the J&M don't look as good as the lethal ones to hold them together.... what do you think?

Actually they do seem to lock pretty well like the lethal if both pipes are gonna butt in to each other like in your lethal h pipe thread. So i can do half on each pipes like in your case some stated that they didn't have issues with leaks or anything, But i guess for the long run it's better for it to be able to slide in both sides and have them clamped or even better with welding.

After i install my x pipe was wondering which would be a nice axel back to combine with... budget is top $600.

Was thinking the Roush which seems to sounds great after watching some clips.

Also Interested in some RTR clips with x pipe

Doed the ford racing x pipe build differ much from these cheaper x pipes?

I"ve been hearing the roush axleback sound with ford x and sounds pretty loud & agressive which caught my attention althought it. Might be to loud?

Go Roush. I have the Roush AB with the J&M X. It'll be loud as hell, don't say I didn't warn you, but it sounds glorious.

Hello folks i have a mustang 2015 gt premium & live in Puerto Rico.... so shipping is hella expensive for parts and there aren't almost any locally to buy.

I would like to try out a simple starter's budget mod for it and was thinking about the changing the stock resonator with an X Pipe. I was searching in american muscle site and so the SR X PIPE for $125 (it says free shipping but i doubt it's free outside the local 48? ) shipped to PR 00959 it goes up to $168 shipped 2 days guaranteed apparently.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-performance-xpipe-1516gt.html

Does anybody have this X-PIPE with everything else on stock? I could only hear the video on the same page which seems to add a tad bit of more sound level... same goes for growl.

What do you guys think of this?

Also if there's any other website that sell these and more sound clips of it let me know.

I'm thinking of buying this & use it for some time. Then later buy a an axle back exhaust with it.

Shoot me a PM and I would be glad to get you pricing on the X pipe with shipping to PR.

Absolutely love my X-pipe with Borla S-Type mufflers.
Basically the same thing as Borlas S-Type Cat Back. Zero drone. Sounds nice and aggressive on cold starts, but not obnoxious. Same under acceleration, nice aggressive V8 tone.

Borla S-Type review:

If you go with the Roush mufflers with an Xpipe...be sure you know what your getting. It's VERY loud and raspy.

Well i liked the roush but in some videos it does sound insanely loud... so what other options i have for less than $600?

I was thinking the BBK Varitune & the RTR performance...

Any info on these 2? Any other options?

BTW The borla is out of my budget... :\

The SLP Loudmouth II sound good with an X-pipe.
Simular to the Roush. But a bit more refined.

Not a great video (wind noise). But here is an example.
