There's a few threads about this already. Long story short; Square is great for the track and creating a balanced handling car as well as being able to rotate
the tires. Staggered rocks if you have a lot of power(more than stock), go to the strip or want that big booty look.
I DD mine(for the time being) and track it as much as I can. I have square sized wheels but staggered tires. I wanted options if I were to change my mind.
Good luck![]()

No probs brotha, that's what were here for. Post up what you end up doing and enjoy the ride! :cheers:thanks man. your advice is so helpful![]()
I wouldn't say "very poor". It depends on the tire (sidewall stiffness), and 1/2" difference at the wheel isn't all that much really. You'll have very poor steering response running 275s on a 9" front GTPP wheel. Find a set of rear wheels to run square tires on square wheels.
No you can do it.Is there any way you could fit a 295/35/19 square setup on 10.5" wheels, or is that asking too much of the GT fenders?
It's also subjective but I've never driven on a setup with a tire that much wider than the wheel and had it be anywhere near as responsive as a properly sized tires where the tread was similar if not narrower in width than the wheel.I wouldn't say "very poor". It depends on the tire (sidewall stiffness), and 1/2" difference at the wheel isn't all that much really.
There are a number of lightweight options that will drastically cut down the weight for you up to 10 lbs per corner.Love my 275/40/19 square setup, just would like some lighter 19x9.5 or 19x10 wheels. The PP wheels are crazy heavy. Oh, and not to mention the benefits of tire rotations....
