I did. I liked it ok, but not anything like that freaking monster GT350. It feels pretty big. If I part out my car and trade, I could just afford a PP GT. I'm on a bigger turbo at 425whp, Ohlins, and wider wheels on 265s all around. Money to get the GT to handle and stop like my current car I...
Hey man!
I would love a GT350, but it's not in the cards financially right now. The Evo stays for awhile. Don't love the GT enough to trade, and it would take thousands to get it where I want performance-wise, when the GT350 I could just leave stock and enjoy. More money I ain't got...
Pricing GT350s, and realizing I can't hope for one without ADM, I decided to give the GT serious consideration.
Today, I was able to take a nice long drive in a 2016 GT Premium/Performance that had ~2500 miles on it. I was with a good friend of mine who is a total Mustang wizard and avid...
Went to Ford in M'boro in the off chance they'd have a GT350. No to that, but they did have 11 billion Roush cars. Insane. I want to see an avalanche GT350 in person.
Finishing up the E40 tune on the car. Couldn't be happier with the results. Mods are stock frame appearing turbo upgrade, 1000cc injectors and 325lph pump, full exhaust, FMIC and piping, intake. Stock cams, unopened block.
Still want a GT350, just gotta wait.
Idk when I'll be there, but since I won't match in a lineup anyway, I guess that's ok. :ninja:
We're knee deep mapping my car for E40 and my current fuel trims are WACKY! I don't expect injector scaling to be fully cleared up and rectified on the drive out, so I might show up in limp mode...
Coming with the scales if anyone wants to be weighed. I got weights on a base V6 automatic, which was surprisingly the lightest S550 I've put on scales yet!
It's still freaking sweet! I think I want a 2017 base as well to get the coolers, track transmission, and Recaros. Saving my pennies and crossing my fingers that I can pull it off.
