2016 GT currently have Ford Racing springs. 255/35/20" on front. I am wanting to close the gap in the front and lower it a bit. I have looked at the Eibach sportline but someone mentioned just changing the struts and see it that would help. Below is a photo for reference.

Can you share what wheels you have?

Struts alone don't change the ride height - if you are looking to close the gap, we have some viable options & a nice overview here: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.steeda.com/assets/images/documents/steeda-2015-2022-mustang-spring-guide.pdf

Let me know if I can help assist with some suggestions.

Anything lower than an inch I’d definitely recommend changing out the struts and other suspension parts. You may also have alignment issues and need camber/caster adjustment pieces. I’m sure someone else will chime in with their ownership experience as I’ve only ever used Steeda Progressives on multiple Mustangs.

But yes Sportlines are probably the most popular springs for a drop exceeding an inch.

edit: perhaps some spacers on the front wheels would also help close the perceived gap.

If you aren't willing to do some suspension and steering mods as well as upgrading your dampers then you don't want the Sportlines. I went with the Sportlines and all the supporting mods to correct the geometry of the suspension and steering and since this is more of a track car than a daily driver. I was willing to spend the money and have it set up at a performance shop that specializes in race prep.

255 is an itty bitty baby tire. An alternative is to put something with some meat up front or some spacers to close the gap up.
